In December 2018 we awarded £3,000 to Happy Days Children’s Charity. We were delighted to received feedback on how this funding helped around 200 children from Sheffield “experience what life has got to offer”. This included a trip to White Post farm for 90 children aged 5-16, a day out at Lightwater Valley theme park for 30 children aged 9-16 and a day out to Tropical Butterfly House and Cannon Hall Farm for 115 children aged 3-17. These children have social, emotional and mental health needs and additional medical needs. Feedback from the Charity said that these experiences help the children with their sensory awareness and improve their social and communication skills, not to mention the fun and excitement they have!
