Maria grew up in Sheffield and has always worked and volunteered here. She studied English Language & Literature at Sheffield Hallam University and has worked in health and community related roles in the voluntary sector ever since.
Maria is keen to make a difference to people who need support in Sheffield and has mainly worked with disadvantaged and minoritized communities. Having worked for a number of charities in Sheffield, Maria is currently Health Services Manager Zest where she supports a team of staff and volunteers to provide community health services to people in the area.
Becoming a Trustee with The Talbot Trust is important to Maria as she feels the Trust supports many worthwhile causes to continue their great work across our region.
