Born in Sheffield and currently living in Grenoside, Sam has 15 years’ experience working in the community sector, specialising in grants management, strategic philanthropy and community development. Sam has worked for funders in the UK (Community Development Foundation and Leeds Community Foundation) and in New Zealand (J R McKenzie Trust), as well as working on the other side of the funding fence as Service Delivery Manager for a large counselling charity (Relate UK).
