We would like to welcome our latest new Trustee, Calum Wilson-Smith!
With an early career background as a medical doctor and researcher, Calum has a decade of experience as a founder and leader in the charity sector. He spent 8 years as the Head of Operations for Sheffield-based charity, Irise International, where he was responsible for Irise’s local projects and pandemic response and established a series of small grant funding rounds for grassroots organisations. Having also worked on health-related projects in the university sector, both as a researcher and a project manager, Calum now works as a charity consultant, providing governance support and training to small charities. He has a particular focus on co-production and supporting underserved communities to deliver the change that matters to them. He brings with him experience both as a grant-maker and as a leader of a charity largely funded through trusts and foundation fundraising. When not working, Calum enjoys spending time with his two young children and taking his chocolate labrador on long walks.
