Mike started his career doing biomedical research at universities in the UK and Ireland, but has now worked in the voluntary sector for over a decade. During this time, he has held a range of different roles with local, regional and national charities, covering fundraising, finance, research, impact and evaluation. He is currently Fundraising Manager at the Peak District National Park Foundation.
Mike’s passion is ensuring that everyone in our community gets the care and support they need to maximise their health and wellbeing, no matter what challenges they may face.
Mike became a Trustee in 2017 and previously held the role of Vice Chair, before becoming Chair in September 2023. Mike is our Champion for Governance & Risk, Impact & Evaluation.
